AROSA IN WINTER

At the very heart of the Canton of Graubünden and free from through traffic, the sun-drenched and snow-sure resort of Arosa lies at 1,800 m right at the end of the Schanfigg Valley. A winter resort for generations, Arosa is wonderfully located in the middle of the ski area and is small enough to have maintained its original cosy charm and warm hospitality. Visitors have been enjoying a wide range of winter activities for over a hundred years in one of Switzerland's most traditional winter sport destinations.
 
Arosa's well-prepared pistes provide great entertainment for all abilities, whilst fantastic powder slopes await freeriders. Even more special are the winter walking trails leading right through the heart of the ski area to Arosa's legendary mountain huts.
 
Arosa is car-free from midnight until 6:00 a.m. (with the exception of taxi pick-ups and drop-offs). During the day a free Arosa shuttle bus will take you anywhere you please.
